The village of Samovodene isa few minutes drive from the historical old capital of Veliko Tarnovo.Due to the close proximity of the Rivers Yantra and Rakovets, Samovodene offersideal conditionsfor fishing. One of the most famous monasteries in the country is located around 4km away and can be reached by car or the footpath starting from the village.
