The imposing iron throne from the extremely successful series “Game of Thrones” is arriving in Veliko Tarnovo. Its plot is inspired by ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’, a series of fantasy novels written by American novelist and screenwriter George R. R. Martin. The throne which is built of thousands blades will be situated in the square in front of Tsarevets Fortress. Fans of the TV show and the books will be presented will the opportunity to see the throne and take photos of it. The iconic chair is over 2 meters in height and weights over 100 kgs.
The throne will stay in Veliko Tarnovo for three days – from 6 pm on April, 11th till 1 pm on April, 13th. Everyone is welcome to come and see it; access is free.
