Summer cinema under the stars will once again delight cinema lovers in Veliko Tarnovo

For the second year in a row, the Summer Theatre in Marno Pole Park in Veliko Tarnovo will host the Summer Cinema Under the Stars. The film marathon starts on June 11 and will end on September 17. Tickets are at symbolic prices and can be purchased at the box office of Kinopolis Iskra or before each screening at the box office of the Summer Theatre.

Summer Cinema Under the Stars in Veliko Tarnovo with 17 movie titles

For a month, residents and guests of Veliko Tarnovo will be able to enjoy the movie marathon “Summer Cinema Under the Stars”. Outdoor screenings will be played every night from August 17 until September 15 at the Summer Theatre in Marno Pole Park. A huge screen will be installed at the Summer Theatre and modern technologies will be used to broadcast the films, guaranteeing the highest quality just like in a movie theatre.

Summer Cinema with Sofia Film Fest in Veliko Tarnovo

The team of Sofia Film Fest and Veliko Turnovo Municipality offer to the cinema lovers in Veliko Tarnovo an open-air cinema. For five days, some of the most important, powerful and moving films from 2018  will be shown in the Marno Pole Park in Veliko Tarnovo. The ticket price for a movie is 4 leva, a “ticket for two” is worth 7 leva, and if you get tickets for more than 2 movies – the price is 3 leva. All screenings have a start time of 21.00 – after sunset.

Open air cinema tomorrow night in Veliko Tarnovo

The_Lesson_(2014_Bulgarian_film)Tomorrow, 4th August, the Summer Theatre in Marno Pole Park will host a one-off projection of the 2014 Bulgarian movie Urok (The Lesson), directed by Christina Grozeva and Petar Valchanov. It is one of the most awarded Bulgarian flicks for the last 25 year, having won 12 awards and being nominated for another 7 at various international film festivals. Maybe your Bulgarian is not so good but still you can savour the atmosphere and enjoy a niece movie under the starry skies. Entrance is free.
