With a national tour in 15 cities, one of the largest environmental initiatives in our country, which encourages both recycling and reading – “Garbage for books”, will celebrate 10 years since its first edition. It was initiated by Soul Elements Publishing, through its Smart Books imprint, together with the Credo Bonum Foundation.
A place for recreation and a beach by Yantra River is planned to be created by the volunteers from Tarnovo Runs and the space for art and culture TAM in Veliko Tarnovo. The idea for this project attracted dozens of followers and together they managed to clean the coastline in front of the former railway boarding house in the city. They also find support from sponsors who stand behind the idea.
The only traveling car cinema in Bulgaria will be in Veliko Tarnovo on May 12 and 13. It will be located in the renovated parking lot at the foot of the Tsarevets fortress on Kraybrezhna Street. Screenings will begin at 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. The cars check in 10 minutes before the start of the film.
The car cinema is viewed from a car, on a screen measuring 5 m x 10 m and 2 m above the ground. The sound is received by the car radio on the respective city frequency displayed on the screen on the day of the screening.

Petya na moyata Petya – The film is the title of the story of the legendary young soul and poet Petya Dubarova. The director is Alexander Kosev, the screenwriters are Nelly Dimitrova and Valentina Angelova, who raise the curtain of the past to present to modern young people Petya Dubarova and her talent.

Nearly 1,000 purebred animals – sheep, goats, llamas, dogs, horses and donkeys will be shown at the tenth anniversary edition of the National Sheep Breeders’ Fair. From 6 to 8 May on the meadows near the Petropavlovski Monastery near the town of Lyaskovets will be able to see the diversity of breeds of sheep and goats raised in the country, which are rare indigenous and highly productive species.
