Medieval festival in June in Veliko Tarnovo

From 29 of June to 1 of July the Tsarevets Fortress will host the International Festival “Medieval Tarnovgrad” for the fourth consecutive year. The historic reconstructions of Bulgaria, Byzantine and European arts, the kitchens, crafts, the arts and military skills of the XII-XIV century are a real bridge in time and will bring visitors to another, mysterious and full of pleasant experiences. A new Chinese restaurant and new supermarket will be opened this summer in Veliko Tarnovo town

The new Chinese restaurant is going to be opened in the building of the Central Post Office in Veliko Tarnovo town. The investment will be realized jointly with a Chinese company.veliko tarnovo town

The building in the centre of the old capital was lastly owned by the developer Todor Kolev. It was then planned to open as an ice cream house, but the project was never implemented. The new investor Viktor Azmanov is the founder and chairman of the Bulgarian-Chinese chamber of commerce and industry and is a master of martial arts. His passion to China leaded to his decision to open a Chinese restaurant in the top centre of the town. For the past few years Veliko Tarnovo attracts a lot tourist from Asia, so such restaurant with this good location is going to have a lot of clients.

New supermarket offers free rental bikes and library to its customers in Pavlikeni, Veliko Tarnovo

Great interest today at the opening of the new “Absolut +” store in Pavlikeni, Veliko Tarnovo. This is the second supermarket “Absolut +” in the town and is located near the stadium of 63 “Ruski” blvd.  Hours before the official opening in front of it had gathered hundreds of citizens, eager to visit the store.

This is not just a commercial store but it also offers a lot more for the residents and visitors of the town. There is an exhibition of the Pavlikeni history, a small library that everyone can use for free and the area is equipped with a children’s playground and a recreation area. The supermarket also offers free bikes that can be used against a customer card together with a purchase over 5 leva and the return time is 24 hours.
