Besides honouring the deed of the brothers Cyril and Methodius, founders of the Cyrillic Alphabet, students’ graduation balls are also organized on this date. They will walk a red carpet rolled out specially for them by Assenevtsi Monument.  This year the red carpet is placed there because of the European Elections which coincide with the happening; previous years the ceremony took place in the town centre, in front of the building of Veliko Tarnovo Municipality. The students will be able to take class photos to cherish in the year to come in one of the most beautiful spots in Bulgaria. The prom-night defiles are to start at 5 o’clock on 24th and 25th May.
